Default Bleeding LS1 brakes

On my lt1, I had to bleed the ABS unit when changing the brake fluid. I am going to be doing my LS1 t/a today. I don't see any abs **** valves,

Do I need to bleed the abs or just the 4 brakes?

Technically a Tech II is needed to bleed the ABS, but I have never needed to bleed it. I would suggest starting with the normal bleed.

I was told you can also drive around to get it up to temp, go over 30 mph (don't remember exactly), then engage the ABS and do not shut the car off. Put it on jack stands and bleed it. The ABS valves are supposed to stay open.

I just got my brakes bleed yesterday and I didn't bleed the abs unit, I actually couldn't find the bleeders for it, but I did bleed the four calipers and everything is working great. You should have no problems if you have a good assistant.

I also put on Hawk pads, Drilled/slotted rotors (WS6store), and Russell braided SS lines went really well.

Yeah I did mine w/o the abs bleeding and it worked well. I hear you just turn the car on, make sure the abs light goes off as normal, shut it off, and repeat and the abs unit should stay open to make sure you have zero problems.

You can bleed it intially to get a decent pedal. If there is air in the ABS hydraulic control unit, just drive it. At about 15 MPH the hydraulic control unit will do a self check & cycle & rehome the dump valves. This cycles the air out ABS unit on the next brake application.
Just rebleed & your set.
