Edelbrock strut tower brace Hi everyone, just one question on the Edelbrock Strut Brace. I just installed mine yesterday and couldn't get the firewall bracket and hardware mounted. I know that it wouldn't make much difference but how would you get it on without taking the intake manifold off. Later, Kevin.

Anything could be possible, however I find it ridiculous to have to remove the intake manifold to install. I also noticed you have a 2000 SS. Is the hood intake the possible culprit?
The reason I ask is several STB's from several other manufacturers won't fit under the SS hoods and I didn't see anything on their website saying it couldn't (at least for your make of SS).
