Planning to break in the new 408 on the street with some wot blasts within reason. Is my stock 10 bolt going to take a ****? I've got full suspension and GSD3 tires...just want to make sure my car won't be down for another month while I wait for my diff. Think it will hold?

No won't be a problem, the 10 bolt won't hook for yah it will just spin and spin lol.

Buddy here local is running a 10-bolt (for now) with a 408 w/200 shot. Hasn't broke yet, but he keeps it on street tires. No launches from a dig either. He is pushing around 700 RWHP on the juice.

YOu should be ok, but you never know about 10 bolts, I say run it till it breaks !

I've been running my stock 10 bolt for the last 4 months w/725rwhp on street tires. No open throttle till 3rd gear for sake of the rear and the street tires. I'm cashing in early as I don't want to be stranded or down as it's a DD so I'm installing a new moser 9" and alum DS this weekend so I can really see what she'll do!
