Default Squeak/Bang Bang :)

OK... goofy subject, but this is REALLY beginning to "grind my gears"......

Had a bad squeak whenever I would shift the car from rev to any foward gear (this is a 6 speed). Also, had bad clunking from the rear.

Found out it was a torn torque arm. The bolt holes had stretched and/or torn. So replaced it with a Spohn (floorpan mounted). Now not only has the squeak not gone away, but there's a new banging sound coming from the transmission tunnel. Any ideas?

Do you have a poly urethan trans mount?

No...not yet at least. My buddy seems to think that the squeak could be from the SPEC stage 4 clutch? But this bang actually rattles the stuff in my center console

You could have a torn od shattered Trans mount bushing causing vibration and banging. I would check out the stock bushing as they usually dont last too long.

Yeah...going to run to Speed Inc tomorrow and pick up a new one. Now I noticed in Spohn's instructions...they don't have an exact torque spec for anything. Anyone know how tight the front pivot should be? I just snugged it ...
