Sway Bar install question...

Sway Bar install question... Well I got my 1LE front sway bar and I want to install it, but I don't have ramps and that is how I've seen it done on a few websites (installuniverity, ls1howto). Does the suspension have to be under load to install the sway bar, or can I do it with jack stands?
the most important thing is to have the lower a-arm to be elevated where the endlinks can fully be pushed through. don't completely tighten both sides until you know both are definitely through securely (harder to explain than perform).

Can I move them manually while installing the sway bar, or should I try and find something to prop them up with? All I have to work with is 2 jack stands, a jack, and hand tools.
You can use the jack to move the a-arm into position, once the car is supported by the jack stands. A tip: don't tighten one end link down very much at all until you have both of them started. If you tighten one side all the way down, you'll have a hard time getting the other side in.
If you have a friend with ramps, see if you can borrow them. The suspension doesn't have to be loaded when you torque everything down, but it helps. Don't overtorque anything. Recommended torque specs for the D-bushing clamps is 41 lb-ft and the end links are only 17 lb-ft, but that's for stock pieces, so your aftermarket manufacturer's specs might be different.
