So why if these cars cost 25k wiht new couldn't they have afforded to throw on a 800 dollar pair of shocks on?
I've read a post about how this guy took his car for a skidpad test and pulled 1.02g one way and 1.04g the other way on the skidpad test. This was on a 99 Camaro with full suspension work.
BTW, they are made by Sachs for GM to GM specs. That's how OEM's make shocks, they pay someone else to do it, but to their specs. So the old Z51 C4 with Bilsteins..... yes and no. Bilstein parts, GM valving and the problem lies in the valving. 
Koni's strart @ $725 for a set of 4 FWIW. Not cheap, but then again, about the same as a set of decent tires which won't last you nearly as long.
