Default Advice: Looking for brackets to convert to C5 brakes on my Camaro plus part #'s.

Hey all:

Well with al my mods I have decided to upgrade on my brakes now.
I have been doing alot of serch and reading on here.

I know there is 3 options for brake brakets to make the C5 rotors work. They are LG Motorsports, UMI and Bob Bishop.

I like the idea of not having to cut the spindle which only LG Motorsports offer. Problem I cant find them on there site at all. Did they stop making them?

Also if you have part #'s on all the parts needed or the best place to purchase everything else I will need to convert to the front C5 brakes, I would greatly apperciate it.

I know I can purchase the complete C5 kits but why not save some money and buy it all separately.

Cutting the spindle is not really a big deal. A sawzall and a couple of blades and a can of 3 in 1 oil and you'll have it done pretty quickly.
You can get the part numbers on the speed specialty website where they sell the trackbird/bishop brackets.

Most of the F-body parts that are made by LG are not on their site. Its best to just call them (yes call not e-mail) and talk to them about the parts they have to offer.

Yes... I bought them recently... They were not on the homepage listed, but they where helpfull via E-Mail.

The brackets look very fine... a good piece of cnc-milling-work!

Only the new position of the calipers (they are moving down) is unusual...

Yes we do offer the conversion brackets and unfortanutly it does require cutting of the spindle, however this is very easily completed and in only a few minutes. We also offer complete kits in many combinations depending on your plans. If you need any help just ask.

Thanks Ryan

I saw that you had 2 options for a kit. One for $779.00 with rotors and one for $719.00 without rotors. Are they both the same except for the rotors?

Also are you planning any discounts any time soon.

Thanks again Ken

Ken, yes the only difference is the less expensive kit does not include the rotors. Many customers like this kit because they get every nut and bolt needed for the installation as well as calipers, brackets, spring/shim kit, abutment brackets, good Hawk HPS pads and they can make there choice of rotors. There are so many rotor choices out there and depending on your driving type choices can vary. We have had good luck with the Raybestos rotors for the minimum price they are.

If you are interested in a kit just shoot me a PM and I will supply a quote.

Thanks
Ryan
