Help, Hotchkis Hell!
So I just finished installing hotchkis front and rear sway bars and Koni SA's. Everthing went pretty good until I found that the rear swaybar does not fit in the stock bracket locations on the axle. Its hard to explain what they are, but I'm talking about the little tabs welded to the bottom of the axle that hold the placement for the U-bolt braket. I've tried everything I can to adjust whatever I could find, but both sides are fitting towards the middle of the car. There is NO way the brackets will fit, it seems like the swaybar is too short. Is this normal? Am I explaining this right?

Rear Swaybar
Here's a pic to help explain this. This is the drivers side, as you can see, the brackets aren't fitting in the center of the tabs. They start toward the right of the tabs on the drivers side, and to the left on the passengers.

Looks to me as if the sway bar is not wide enough (not right bar for your application)?
When the bar is installed like this are the end links coming straight down from their mounts on the frame to the holes in the bar or are they tilted in toward the center of the car excessively? They should install in the straight up and down position or VERY close to that.
My aftermarket rear bar had the 90 deg bends that are right after the bushing located closer to the bushings also - but not anywhere near that bad. My brackets/bushings were still able to be mounted on axle in 'stock' position.

hmmmm.... wierd...
I have the Hotchkis Kit on my TA... I installed it about 2 years ago almost... I can't remember if i had that problem or not, I don't believe i did though... as far as I can remember, everything went on pretty smoothly... i'd call up hotchkis and make sure you got the right bar...
By the way, your in for a treat once you get them on! I still vouche it's the best kit you could have bought!

Everything on the kit says its for "93+ Model F-Bodies." I got it from Summit Racing, and the front bar fit like a glove. The tie rods on the rear fit well too, straight up and down with the holes on the bar ends. Either way, I got all them on and took it for a cruise and everything feels okay execpt the minimal clearance between the rear bar and the rear end diff cover has got me a little worried. Other than that, my TWO speeding tickets from last night prove this seems to be a good application
