Default Lowering shocks and springs

Alright I have a stupid *** question. If i bought 2" lowering springs and for say like adjustable shocks that lower anywhere from 1-1.5 inches. So that would mean I could go 3 to 3.5 inches lower right. Or am I wrounge certain lowering shocks wont fit certain springs. I dunno for ****. And o ya how low should I go in my z28. It seems like 1.75 inches dont make it look low. I want my **** slammed. And o **** would I need new struts if i go low. Im just a kid that bought a hotrod because i was jelous of daddys vette and i dont know **** about add ons. Thanx for any help I really need it!!

Yes, I suppose you could go up to 3.5" lower in the front. That would put the air dam on the floor just about. Believe it or not, any more than 2" and youll scrape on positively everything. Try the suspension forum, youll get better feedback.
