Default In the market for new rotors

I have a 98 firebird formula my rotors have never been replaced. i went to have them machined about a month ago after one got a grove in it after and accident and was told they are below replacement level and could not be machined i guesse that means i need a new set. My question is how much should i be spending is it worth it to get cross drilled, slotted, zinc coating my car is a daily driver but i do like to add preformance ungrades any opions or suggestions would be great thanks guys
