Default coil-over advantages

I was wondering what the advantage to coil-overs were compared to just getting shocks and spring?

Thanks

Easy ride height changes whenever you want. If you are into road racing it's easy to change the springs so you can tune your car with different spring rates. You can go all tubular front suspension and shave a couple of pounds (literally a couple) from not having spring perches.

Search, theres tons of information on them.

Most of the tubular front end parts for these cars were made for drag racing and I wouldnt use thoes pieces if your plan is to make the car turn.
