Default BMR Panhard rod relocation kit

Anyone ever use one of these? I'm only seeing BMR putting this out. Is have this nessecary at all? I'm thinking about getting one, but I'm not sure it would really put any extra support where there is not. Or, I'm thinking maybe lowering the panhard rod would be even better than just having an aftermarket one in the stock location...
