Brakes...Disc Removal on an 02 Z28 Howdy! I just got the car about a month ago and their are new brake pads that the guy had put on, but at speeds of 50 or greater i am getting the vibration that you get from warped rotors when the brake is applied.
I don't want to pay brake check around 100 to do the job cause oreilly charges 35 bucks to machine the whole set, which hopefully can be done instead of completely replacing them.
Heres the question: How in the hell do I remove the old discs so they can be turned?

No bleeding, just unbolt the 2 bolts that hold them onto the brackets, the brake line stays connected. Then set the calipers on something so they're not hanging by the brake line. The emergency brake only applies to the rear brakes obviously.

www.installuniversity.com im sure its a write up there about doing a brake job. FWIW its the front rotors thats making the steering wheel vibrate, so thats all you need to pay attention to.
