Default Stock Shocks.

How long do my stock de carbon shocks last for? I have almost 38K miles on them and have never touched them. Also what would you recomend as an "all around" good shock? I like to take turn somewhat hard, so putting in drag shocks might be outa the question. just looking for an all around good shock, (i.e. for the street, strip, etc..)
TIA

and if you added an aftermarket shock, did it affect how harsh the ride was?...

I'm not sure myself, but I have 80K brutal as hell miles on my stock shocks and they are not leaking or anything. Seem to be okay I guess.

The factory stuff is of very good quality. Haven't seen any problems with them even with 100k vehicles. If you want a good all around performer, go with Q1a's or Hal's by the old name.
They are so adjustable its almost too good to be true.

What do u guys think of the "take off" ones SLP offers? There the de carbons but brand new. Is it worth just buying those? I looked at the Hals and boy are they pricey <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0">
