if you want to go to stock ride height, its about 9 inches when you compress them....actually, 9 inches is just a TAD lower than stock ride height.....

9 inche from where? from the bottom of the spring OR jam nut to the very bottom of the shock?

its 9 inches from the bottom part of the shock that is bolted in, but you have to make sure that you hold it at the same angle as when it bolts on to make sure the measuring is accurate....

I am installing Hal front shocks and need to know a measurement from the jam nut to the front shock. Any tips and information will be greatly appreciated!!!
