This would be more appropriately posted in the Drag racing tech folder, but you'll get the same answer there. Tires.

Put a 9" in it. Also some SFC, LCA, and a TA. O and some tires.

The only problem with the drag radials is, if its a DD it's going to suck when it rains, and they will probably only be good for 5-6000 miles if you race alot.

any modest size drag radial (275 or bigger) will cure ur problems gauranteed as soon as you mount them and turn out of the tire shop onto the street

Good thread, I am doing GMS SFC's, BMR tubular LCA's and relocation brackets next week. May get started on prepping the SFC's tomorrow and install those on sunday.

Spinning tires is GM's built in insurance that you won't break their puny 10 bolt rearend. Why are some you guys giving him advice for wheelhop? I didn't see anywhere in his post that he has that problem.

Doesn't everyone have wheelhop?

"1. Need to stop the spinning at the top of first and beginging of second gear."

^Though I doubt wheelhop is happening at that time.^

I never have... just spinning or hooking... well... once when I got on it in reverse in wet pavement (don't ask why) I did get some bad wheel hop but that was the one and only time
