Default lowered suspension for drag racing

Is there any spring kits out there that will lower the car about 1" and still be good for drag racing. I would like the car to be lowered but do not want it to hurt my times? Maybe Hal shocks with some type of spring.

Thanks in advance,Kyle <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Default Re: lowered suspension for drag racing

I've had Eibach springs in two of my 4th gen f-bodies and in both cases the 60ft times did not suffer at all. I managed to get 1.81 60fts with my lowered 98 Formula M6 (drag radials and 4.10 gears) and 1.91 60fts in my old 95TA (2.73 A4, BFG Comp TA ZRs). If anything I think the slight lowering helped the 60fts a little bit.

I also had a similar experience with my supercharged 87 Mustang GT. It was lowered 1" with very very stiff Motorsport C racing springs. Yet I still managed to get 1.59 60fts with a 3.55 gear and 10x26" slicks.
