Rear brakes stick on....

Rear brakes stick on.... I just got done installing a used strange 12 bolt rear end with 1993 LT1 brakes on it. (On my 2000 SS) When I engage the brakes the rear locks up and the tires will not spin until I take the tires off. After I take the tires off and put them back on the tires spin until I press the brakes again. I'm thinking the back space from the axel tub to the caliper mount is off. Or sticky calipers? Would my 2000 brake master cylinder have anything to do with it? How about low idle and or vacuum?
