Default Can someone explain the "revalved" Bilsteins

I am having the Eibach Pro-kit installed pretty soon and I was going to put on some Bilstein HDs while I was at it. However, now everyone is talking about using these "revalved" Bilsteins from Strano parts. What is "wrong" with the original HDs? Is the ride to soft or stiff? Is the revalving really worth the extra $150 and who does the revalving? I sure wouldn't want the integrity of the shock to be compromised. I would like to just use the Bilsteins right of the box unless there is something drastically wrong with that.

I too was wondering the same thing. I am going to do the pro kit and bilstein HDs, but i wanted to know if it was worth the money for revalving. Someone please enlighten us.

I chose the HD Revalves because they are designed for the drop on my SS. I believe the standard HD's will work perfect with the stock height, but to make full use of the dampening of the shock it has to be calibrated/revalved to work in a different range of motion. I figured I'd spend the money on the revalves especially since I would've paid that much for the standard HD's anyway (Bilstein dropped their prices). JMO...I say get the best you can the first time, and avoid the hassle and expense later.
