26 inches I believe. Measure tire from base to top and see.

24.64" 245mm x .50 = 122.5mm/25.4mm (25.4mm=1")= 4.822"(sidewall) x 2 + 15" = 24.64"

Does that help?

One more thing, does a taller tire make the speedo read incorrectly faster or incorrectly slower. I should be getting through the traps right before the last shift.

Stock 245/50/15? Don't you mean 245/50/16? If so then add an inch on, it's more like 25.6" I believe. Definitely not 24.6"

The accurate way to measure your tire height for programing is mount tires on car, adjust tire pressure, then on a level section of driveway make a mark on the bottom of the tire and on the driveway. Now rotate the tire one revolution till the mark is down again and make another mark on the driveway. Measure the two marks on the driveway. They should be between about 78 and 83 inches whatever the figure is divide it by 3.1416 and that figure is you're exact tire height. Frank95z
