Default torque specs for rear suspension....

i had to drop the rear end a bit to get the exhaust off, so now i'm wondering what the torque specs are for the LCA's and the panhard rod and then also the rod above that(forgot what it's called). And how should i do this? with the car resting on the ground like normal? thanks

Chris

z28kid98,

Controm arm bolts 74 ft.lbs.
Control arm nuts 60 ft.lbs.

Panhard rod nuts 61 ft.lbs.
I do the same with the upper rod nut and just tighten the 3 bolts on the other end tight.

I like to torque nuts/bolts with weight on the suspension.I usually put thr front on ramps and raise the rear with a floor jack.

hope this helps
John
