I just remove the wheel and hammer them out. Use a centerpunch if it is broken down to the base.
The fronts are easy. The rears have a little dished area inside the E-brake housing that you line up with the empty hole to stick a new stud in.

I stripped two out on my Moser and pulled the axle and took it down to a shop to have them pressed out. They looked at me like I was crazy. We ended up just hitting them with a hammer to knock them out and used a lug to pull the new ones in. Oh well, live and learn

Yep, I changed one out on the front this morning, and I just whacked the crap out of it with a hammer and chisel. I then loaded a few washers on, threw a lugnut on, and pulled it in. It's good as new.

I tried bashing my fronts out with a BFH! to no avail. Even soaked them in wd40 for a few hours for some slippage help...nothing. The tips of the studs start to mash without even budging. ARGH!
Looks like I have to get them pressed out. Oh well prolly will cost hardly anything to do anyway.

If you don't have any washers laying around just turn your stock lug nuts around and that'll do the trick, I was told to add a little anti-seize to the knurl, took about 5 minutes per hub to seat all the studs

When I stripped 3 on the rears, I took it to two places and the problem was that they were too long by a hair to be pulled out. They would've needed to pull the axle.
Luckily, the new ones were a few mm shorter and fit in perfectly, so they cut the old ones out. That's $150 I never wanna have to spend again!
