Which torque arm
Here is the setup,Stock motor w/cam pushing 370hp/370tq.
Installing Ram 6130/402 clutch and Strange 12 bolt with 3.73 gears and running Nitto's.Will like to put torque arm in at Same time as rearend.
The G2 Torque Arm cured so many of my hop, dive and traction problems.
It's not the cheapest one out there, but's a direct bolt-in and it works.
It did require some slight modification to fit my Moser 12-bolt though, I had to cut off a little bit of the mounting flanges, just past the rear mounting bolt holes, so that it would slide all the way back onto the housing. Nothing major.

Unless your in the 10's, there are better places to spend your money. (IMO)

John, A4 cars don't shock the drivetrain as much as an M6. Your stock 10-bolt for example. I bent my stock torque arm to **** on a weak 1.6X 60' time. That was only in the low 11s...

I just looked at there site.$500 is a little steep and I noticed it is not adjustable.

I would still give a shout to Lou and ask him about it and adjustability.
On some designs, adjustability is necessary. But, as Tony has proven, it's really not with the proper design and leverage.
It was repaired and he then ran over some road debris and it caught on the torque arm cross member and ripped it right out of the floor pan.
He now has a G2 and his wheel hop has been eliminated.

Reason: I pulled my rearend to do a gear change sunday and while it was out I decided it would be a good time to change the torque arm bushing to a poly. After getting the old bushing out and attempting to install the poly I found that the bushing housing was bent. SO after much thought..
2.73 gear= 1.61 60ft times
3.73 gear that I'm in the process of putting in.
= hopefully 1.40'sto 1.50's 60 ft.
I figured I better install something a little better than a poly mount.
I chose BMR trakpak because it looks like a quality peice, moves the mounting point off the transmission, and Stealth has 10% off.

Most of the adjustables that I've helped install ended up having the exact same pinion angle as the stock torque arm, which is just about perfect. So, why have it adjustable?
Tony
Tony, does this exclusive torque arm mount come with the torque arm?I also notice you run adjustable lower control arms, would this adjust pinion angle too?
Thanks
Don
