best all around tires
I was looking for tires for my car and I saw a set of BFGoodrich drag radial tires (not the G-fprce T/A) and wanted to know if n e one has tried them and what they thought. I always wanted to know what would be a good tire for straight line and for the times when i want to push it throught a couple of turns, going straight is fun but i think everyone loves to hook turns every now and then.

Re: best all around tires
I have a set of 315/35R17 Drag Radials on stock 17x9 wheels in the rear of my SS, and 285/40ZR17 Bridgestone Potenza RE730's on stock 17x9 wheels in the front.. Absolutely love em both! The BFG's hook up awesome! However, on stock wheels, they will rub inside the fenders.. If the 315's are on 17x11's they wont rub as much, also a little hammer work inside the fender works wonders... I did it to my SS, and it doesnt rub much.. But on hard abrupt turns, it rubs.. doesnt cause any major damage though.

Re: best all around tires
Lets say that I put 9.5 front and 11 inch ZR-1 rims on my car with the 275/40's on the front and the 315/35's on the rear, plus my car is stock heigth so I wouldnt have to worry about getting one of thoess bump steer kit. So lets say that I went to a little road race course do you think the tires would rub then.
