I've had mine on for maybe 20k miles now (street use)lowered with a prokit and I think they are a very good shock for the money.

Sure there's probably better out there but at the time, I had dropped enough money in springs and other suspension parts. There is definitely a difference in "1" softest and "8" firmest.

I just took my time one Saturday and set my shocks and tested the ride down a particular road. Adjusted them again and went down the same road until I liked the way the car handled. After a week or so you might want to dial them in one more time.

I'd like to try a true coilover setup like Global West or Ground Control but until these wear out, they handle great.

I have KYB AGX Shocks as well. The car is also lowered with 2" drop springs (too low) and I like the KYBs.. They seem good to me.

if you're buying these shocks as a performance upgrade, you need to talk to someone who knows a little more about them

try calling Sam Strano
http://www.stranoparts.com

he sells KYB, Bilstein, Koni, JRZ.. and prolly some others too... he can give you a good idea of the differences
