Picked up my AutoZone rotors yesterday
I've run stock fronts, warped them at 13K.
I've run PowerSlots, warped them at 20K.
I've run stock fronts, warped them at 15K.
So, for $38 each, I'll give the AutoZone front rotors a try. I like the stock brake pads since they are clean and I do not do any autocrossing. They work fine for 1/4-mile blasts.

My autozone rotors lasted about 40K. I didn't have any warping however they did suffer severe heat cracks. I'm giving the powerslots a try now! We'll see!

40K is nuts! I know how hard you drive Marc, so 40K is damn impressive. See the PowerSlot results I had above
40K miles = 160,000 1/4-mile passes

Yeah I know, but I have a freak car remember...98' 4 years 90,000 miles w/ a 150 dry shot before she croaked. I had them turned once and then the cracks came.

Re: Picked up my AutoZone rotors yesterday
I've been using the autozone specials for the last couple of months, haven't had any probs. Nice and cheap too, so I don't really care if they warp on me.
They seem to rust a lot easier than my stock rotors though.

Have had the AZ fronts for a while, now you can special order the rears from them too. I ordered mine Sunday. $62.99 each for the rears, that makes them at least $22 cheaper each than anything else out there

I cracked KVR cross drilled in 4k miles. And I never went to the track. They were not warped but cracked all to hell. I'm trying KVR blanks right now.

Re: Picked up my AutoZone rotors yesterday
I got the Autozone rotors with Hawk HPS pads. I will see how they will hold up. I've been breaking my rotors in per procedure I found on Baer website, so hopefully they will last. But at $38 a piece I can replace them cheap if they warp.

If you want to know the price just go to AZ's website www.autozone.com. I work there and everyone loves the rotors. If you have any complaints about them take them to the store and AZ will make it right with ya!!!

I got the autozone rotor/hawk pad combo too. Works great. Dusts like hell!! Stock rotors were warped when I got the car at 26k miles. Probably have about 4k on these rotors.
BTW, doesn't autozone have a lifetime warranty on the rotors? Free replacements.

Re: Picked up my AutoZone rotors yesterday
New Autozone just opened up next to us so figured what the hell and went down and bought some rotors. Installed em tonight. It's been a long time since I stepped on the brakes and didn't feel the earthquake under my foot. Nice so far
