lowering bilstein equiped car I have an 02' SS with the optional SLP bilstein suspension. My 01' also had it and I love it. The problem is that I hate the way the car sits. The back looks like its 1/2" lower than the front. Has anyone here changed the springs on a bilstein equiped car? How much did it drop?
Re: lowering bilstein equiped car I ordered my car w/out the bilsteins for just that reason.. I have Eibach Pro kit springs and it sits perfect.. I have revalved bilsteins on the way..

Re: lowering bilstein equiped car You may want to try www.ground-control.com and get the rear "weight jack" kit for our cars. It is designed to use a shorter spring than stock adn give you about 2.5 inches of adjustment (in ride heigth), but you could use it with the stock springs and run it up about 1/8th inch (the spring sits in an aluminum piece that is about 3/8's inch thick) and adjust the back to match the front. I had these adjusters on my 1989 Formula Firebird and am puite sure they will give you the "lift" you need. Good luck. PS the adjusters are about $59 a pair (way cheaper than global west).
