Default Slotted rotors. In what direction are they mounted?

I've had mine on for a couple months and installed them with the slots going towards the back of the vehicle. I've noticed other cars with them in the other direction. Which way are they supposed to go on?

They are to be installed in the direction of the rotor vanes.... regardless of the direction of the slots.

yep...but what if the rotor vanes are NOT directional like most rotors...? My drilled/slotted rotors don't have directional vanes. I installed mine with the leading edge of the slot near the top of the rotor, which is the opposite of how big dave installed his.

Good point. Except for the fact that most rotors "now-a-days" are directional. But, as stated.... there are some exceptions to this fact. Good point indeed.

I myself run a directional rotor that has the leading edge of the slot on the OD of the rotor..... as in the attached picture below. The rotor pictured is the left front.
