Brake ISSUE I got strange prob
I have just installed a 2002 rear end in 96TA
I am using LT1(96) Brake brackets
The prob is Disc is touching the Brake calipar! Temp soloution was adding washer to Studs before Disc so it would work as spacer. It worked some what but didn't fix it!

Re: Brake ISSUE Obviously there is some difference in the mounting offset on the rear brakes between the LT1 and LS1 cars. The solution is to put the LS1 rear brakes on the car or maybe take the old LT1 brake mounting brakets and have them put on the new LS1 rear. Not too familiar with the differences but apparantly there are some.
