Default Wheel Hopping problems

I'm getting ready to do the rear suspension on my 99 z28. My car is not lowered and do not intend on it. My goal with this car is street and strip. Is a adjustable panhard rod worth me buying.
The last time I ran it at the track I had so much wheel hop I broke 6 teeth off the ring gear and knocked the synchro out of 3rd gear.
Any suggestion would be helpfull

Not lowered, no PHR change necessary (not adjustable anyway) Plan on changing? Get the adjustable.

I'm going to be doing more than just the phr. I just wanted to know what everyone else has been doing to eliminate wheel hop on hard launches.

Get a torque arm like sphoon, or bmr and get some sfc, and lower contro arms and the wheel hop will go away!

I would buy some poly/poly lower control arms and relocation brackets.

LCA's, tunnel mounted adjustable torque arm and SFC seemed to take care of it for me

As other's have stated: Torque Arm & LCA's should do the trick for you. I don't have an aftermarket torque arm (yet), but when I put on my LCA's w/ relocation brackets it cured my wheel hop problem.

What sfc's should I go with. I was thinking bmr for price but slp for design.

LCA's and a TA helped my wheel hop prob, I went with UMI on both and NA on both as well. If you arent gonna lower it theres no need to get the ADJ stuff.

I wasn't planning on lowering it yet, maybe one day. I'm not sure, I'm kind of half and half. Sometimes I like the look of lowered camaros and other times i'm fine with where mine sits at stock height.

actually if you plan on runnin a larger tire or slicks its a good idea to get them that way you can recenter the wheel in the wheel well

I have just about all the rear suspension mods you can get between my Camaro and my 95 Formula. Dude, Ill tell you, lower control arm relocation is a must! Wowness!!! I have a cheapie Edelbrock non adjustable TQ arm on the Camaro. It did a great job as well but I wish I would have gotten the adjustable one.

As far as control arms, well I cant really tell ya. I have some Hotchkis`s on the Formula but I dont really know if it helped out all that much because I did other stuff to it when I put them on. Never the less have got to be better then the stock stamped trash.

You beat me to it. Adjustable LCAs are going to be the only way you'll get a 28" slick to fit and that's with clearancing for it.

I was only planning on running a 26'' tall tire maybe bigger. I was also wondering what for shocks and springs should I go with . I was thinking of getting QA1 coil overs for the front and and doing something in the rear. I want my front end to sit low when I want. I like the way the back of the car sits now. I don't care for low sitting cars too much.

Weld on some UMI relocation brackets, very high quality and only about $70. I had TERRIBLE wheel hop with my MT DR's, felt like the car was being shaken apart. The UMI brackets totally eliminated it.

Mine fit without it. I have a set of adjustables that I thought I had to use but didn't. I'm saving them for a bare shell roller build up
