Creaking?

Creaking? My '02 SS Convertible has developed some
creaking, seems to be the front end. It
makes a squeak when I put into drive or
reverse, and when I crank the wheel L/R
(parked). It's got about 2800 miles on
it, had it maybe 3-4 months now.
Is this just to be expected, or is there
some chassis lube it's asking for, or ???
It didn't make this noise originally.

Re: Creaking? Went to the dealer for 300-mile service
and told the service dude about the creaking.
Got it back, dude said they spent hours on
it, greased, loosened & retightened the
rack, and it went away.
Only, when I left work last night, the noises
are still there and still the same.
Heh. I love to see a professional at work.

Re: Creaking? I hate to say this because I love F body cars.They all creak,sqeak&rattle.I've owned 2nd,3rd and 4th gen camaros and they all creaked,squeaked,rattled,etc.The 4th gen cars are the best by far.Your car being a conv,it's even more prone to make these funky noises.That's my .02$ anyway.
