Car and Driver Brake test article. Hey Guys,
Just a heads up that Car and driver has a good brake comparison test in this months issue. They test 2 sets of brembo's, stoptech, and prodrive. No BAER <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> . But it is a good article none the less.

Re: Car and Driver Brake test article. Actually the stoptech's consistently oupperformed all of the others at a lower price. I checked out their web-site, all they list is a brake package for LS-1 Vettes, but I am assuming that it will fit an F-Bod with some 17's. The package was about 2500.

Re: Car and Driver Brake test article. Careful on that "assume" thing. You may be right but... The stock C5 brakes don't fit an F-body nor the reverse. If they have a kit/setup for the C5 it doesn't necessarily follow that they'll make a setup for us F-body guys. Just a note of caution.

Re: Car and Driver Brake test article. You cannot assume that it will bolt directly up, but you can assume that you can use the same adapter that you use for the stock C5 conversion to use this one!

Hard to justify 3k on brakes, and while the c5 brakes parts are eas yto find, it dno't seem you gain a ton. And the full kit from UMI is 850 bucks.
