Default 15 or 16 inch slicks

I am looking to put tires and wheels on my car I am looking at the et streets I dont think a 28 inch height tire will fit in the rear so i am thinking 26 and will a 16 inch wheel clear the front calper better than a 15 or no diffrence and i forgot these are weld wheels i heard people having clarance problems on the front thanks

I have 15x3.5 fronts and 15x8 rear weld pro stars. I had to do alot of grinding, but I didn't use any spacers. With spacers there is less grinding. Personnally I would go with the 16" rim to make the fitment easy. I don't think there is any grinding required, but don't quote me on that.
If there is grinding with the 16" then I would just use the 15" as they are lighter and there is more tire choices.
