CLUNK!! I could use some of the expert advice that's always floating around on LS1Tech!
I have recently developed a "clunk" noise on intial acceleration, and sudden decel/braking. I am thinking it must be a lack of lube in the LCA bushings, but before I jack the car up and check.....has anyone had this problem before,a dn if so what was the fix? Re: CLUNK!! Can you tell where the noise is coming from? Same thing happened to me. Don't laugh but it was the battery support. The hold-down had broken and the battery was floppin around in there. Just an idea.

Actually I can feel it in the floorboard....probably need to tighten up or lube the LCA's, but was hoping someone might have an affirmative answer.
