Default Slp subframe connectors

do anybody have these on theyre car, can they tell a difference how much clearence have you lost was it worth it is it good to get em while your car is lowered let me know every detail about them i need to know about this <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I've helped install the SLP bolt-on's on two of my friends SS's and they have nothing but great things to say about them.

If you are worried about clearance I would go with the BMR tubulars...I got them and they are great...noticeable difference too...car is really stiff... <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

Just put a set of the bolt-ons on my friends WS6 and they helped alot. I am getting ready to put a set of the BMR square tubing on my lowered SS. will let you know the clearence issue. On my buddy's WS6 they SLP's tucked nicely though. Ran into a tight area on the drivers side fuel line. Going to have to do a little trimming on the heat sheild to get them to go on.

From what I have read the SLP's are probably the best for fitment and body rigidity. However they are the worst for added weight (40LBS) and LT comtatability.

I'm actually having the slp subframe connectors installed as we speak. I get the car back tonight after all the suspension upgrade is installed. After reading some of the posts here about subframe connectors, I am a little worried about the weight add on. Can someone tell me if i will lose 1/4 time. My stock time with cme exhaust was 13.04, thats a pretty good time for a stock ss so i hope i dont lose time from adding these things on.

Technically fro mthe weight you should loose a half a tenth, but you may gain from better traction and less bosy flex, who knows? If you have not already taken out the spare you could always do that too.

I have the SLP bolt-ons. Didn't want to rip out the interior to do weld-ons (burn up the carpet from welding on the floor).

Anyway, they go on real easy (fuel line heatshield on driver side @ front, needs minor trimming). I road race it & definitely notice the increased chassis stiffness.

I have had no issue with ground clearance & my car is lowered by 1.5".

i just ordered these and am looking foward to putting them on, to reduce the rattles in my car do they also help out in that department much or is that just a gimick? oh and mine are slp bolt ons as well...

i have had them (bolt-ons) on my car for a few years now. At first they did help with some rattles, but i also did alot of other stuff around the same time, so its hard to tell if it was the sfc or not. I did notice alot more rigidity though after they were on. Make sure to use lock-tite on the bolts.

I love my BMR tubular SFCs. welded also. Ive only heard bad things about bolting them on...
