Default Suspension (what else could i do)

Well guys i just installed some suspension work in my 01 ss, and i was wondering what else i could do to it. Here are some of the things i did to it: Eibach prokit, Bilstein HD shocks/struts, SLP Subframe connectors, SLP strut tower brace, Hotchkis adjustable panhard rod, Hotchkis lower control arms. Also, another thing is should have I gotten relocation brackets, cause i called in eibach and they said i didnt need it, and the guy who intalled them said that i only need them if i am going below 2 inches. Well what else do you guys think i could do to the suspension? Thanks

What handling characteristic are you chasing?

Or are you blindly throwing parts at the car?

OK, so what characteristic doesn't allow you to do that?

Not being a jerk, but you need to know what the problem is before you can fix it.

If you have to ability to put the LCA relocation brackets in.. do it. You're losing a lot of traction by having the symetry of the LCA's thrown off from lowering. If you want to corner better, try some upgraded sway bars, and change out every bushing possible to 1LE (if available) or poly bushings. Also look into Global West upper and lower A-Arms and maybe a better K-member (just for kicks)

That's just throwing more parts at it.
That's not tuning ...

Does the car turn in crisp?
Does it rotate well?
Does it accelerate off the corners predictably?

OR

Does it plow like a Farmall on turn in?
Does it push like a pig from the middle off?
Does it wanna get real tail happy on track out?

Installing relocation brackets ... he never said anything about wheel hop.

Sway bars ... does it roll the tires over in a corner? With Eibachs, he doesn't have enough spring to justify bigger sways. Remember, springs support the weight, sways point the weight ot the desired location.

Bushings are not a bad idea, but it will enhance both good and bad handling problems.

Upper and Lower A-arms ... he has never complained about turn in so camber and caster might be good enough.

K Member ... a lot of hype and maybe good for a track car. But there are serious durability issues on a daily driver.

There is some fundamental information required when tuning a suspension.

First of, you need a controlled environment so that you are running the car over the same course each time. Then you need tire temp readings and tire pressures.

You also need ride height readings and weight distribution.

A person would never just begin exchanging camshafts or intakes or exhaust without some idea of what the problem was. Same holds true for suspension ...
