Default HAL question

So, I haven't done much research about suspension components, so I have a few, probably obvious, questions about HALs. What is the difference between the F and R ratings, and als the weight ratings? Which would best suit a street/strip application?

I'm not sure of the difference between the 2, i know I have the F shock and it's 12 way adjustable

For spring ratings, go with the 300 lb for street/strip

The "F"s are the standard 12 way adjustable shock, when you adjust the **** it affects the compression and rebound. They are a good budget shock for the rear. The "R"s have a fixed compression, and 12 way adjustable rebound. The "R"s are great because the front of the car won't be bouncing all around when they are set loose. Since I bought mine when they first came out I have left them set at full loose on the street, the car handles great for what it is.

As far as springs, I would scale all four corners then call whoever it is that your buying the springs from. If you want to use a QA1 style spring in the rear you will have to get a kit for them from Wolfe.
