Default Which length spring do I use?

go to this site:

http://www.qa1.net/springs/coiloversprings.html

and click where it says:

"Click Here for Dimensions and Part Numbers"

I need to know which length I would use for the front and for the rear. I'm thinking I will need to use the 12" springs for the front (lower the front and the highest spring rate) and then the 14" in the rear. I'm working on making my own full coil over setup for my car.

Default Re: Which length spring do I use?

nevermind.....I found out what I needed to know.

This is what I'm going to have:

front:

QA1...12 way adjustable coil over shock (17" extended....11 5/8" collapsed)
700 lb/in linear rate spring

rear:

QA1...12 way adjustable coil over shock (18 3/4" extended....12 1/2" collapsed)
250 lb/in linear rate spring

If anyone has any reason of WHY this is a bad setup (BESIDES it will ride hard....I don't care to hear that!!!), I would really like to get your input. I have G2 springs on it now and they are too soft (650 lb/in front and 180 lb/in rear).

thanks for any input you can add <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
