Default difference between torque arms

what are the performance diferences between a trans mounted torque arm and a remote mounted one.
im looking to buy one for my TA that will be a street/strip (weekend only) car.
HC, intake, TC, no2, cai, ported tb, & dr's.
im seriously trying to get into the 10.5's with some weight reduction.
what torque arms do you guys have positive feed back on?

When you say remote mounted I assume you mean something that mounts to the body? If so I would recommend this type of set-up for a vehicle with those times, a torque arm mounted to the transmission running 10.50's can or may eventually snap the tailshaft. A tunnel mounted torque arm will remove the torque arm off the transmission and prevent this. I posted a few links below on some options. If you have any questions please ask and I will be glad to help.
