Default Results from Suspension Mod

At last I have had the suspension job done. That inlcudes Eibach Pro Kit springs, Bilstein HD's (Strano style) and BMR STB, SFC's, LCA's and brackets, sway bars and APHR.

WOW - the Z is fantastic. Now she launches really well, no hesitation like before when the stock components were twisting. Gone has the body roll in corners and more importantly gone has that bobbing and boucing thansk to the shocks.

I am VERY happy with the mods and the components.

Thanks to BMR, Mike at Stealth Performance and Sam Strano for assitance.

The car also looks awesome

What do you guys think?

Any suggestions for the next mod to finish the suspension/chassis, e.g. torque arm, tunnel brace, front a arms, buchings?????

I have a '98 1LE and I liked the improvement from the BMR torque arm that slides inside a poly donut. I then moved the battery to the back and that helped too, but the best change was to buy some 2001 SS 17" wheels. I tried to get the 16" wheels to work but it was not really doable on street tires. The used SS rims were $500 and superclean from an individual at this site, and look great in the double-5 spoke design. These are 9" but I'm sure that you could get some 9.5" rims from elsewhere and be a little happier for a little more dough, though. Your car looks very nice!

Jagsy, your ride looks great. <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />
How much and how long did it take to have your Bilstein HD's reworked by Mr Strano?
The reason I ask is I have a basic Bilstein set and have not installed them due to waiting on back ordered G2 Springs. So I have some time to play with if the cost isn't to much. E-mail me the info if you like or PM.

Thanks
Jay

Thanks to you all for the nice comments.

I just love the car. People here in the UK just don't know what it is. And the exhaust has made the LS1 sound lie a proper V8. People walking down the street stop and turn when they hear me coming Hehe.

Jay, midnight is right its about 50$ per shock plus the shipping. Be patient with the time it takes. If Bilstein are busy they can take quite a while to do. But its well worth it. I was airborn this weekend and expected the car to contact the ground with a bang, but the shocks and springs just rode the landing beautifully.

It looks like the next mod will be a torque arm. Hmmm how much have I got to spend?????

Nice! Cool to see quality American Muscle over in the UK! They must really wonder what that car is, the cars over in England are so small.
