Default BFG KD's and Sears

So I finally invested in a set of BFG KD's. Cool tires, but the guys at Sears Jacked my car up by the lower fender attachment points and now my fenders stick out kinda' goofy like on the bottom. What really cheeses me off is that I brought out the guy who took my car in to show him those two spots and I told him "Do NOT jack it up by those two points." He told me he was familiar with the issue and not to worry. Argh!

Think they'll fix it or am I goin to have to go to court. Any one have any experience with this?

They put the tires on Monday and I just noticed today. I've been going to work when it's dark and coming home the same. Forgot my lunch today so I actually walked up to it in the light for the first time since the day I picked my car up...and I didn't notice it then...

Well I live in PA and Sears is in big trouble in Parts of PA and NJ for ripping customers off for work they never did. Like doing a four wheel alignment on a car that only needs two wheels alignments. They are making Sears review there files and reimburse the customers money. Just my 2 cents. How are they tires anyway.

Yikes!

They did an alignment too...perhaps I should verify that they didn't charge me for a 4-wheel job. I wouldn't have thought to look thanks!

The tires are pretty neat. I just put on new rotors last weekend, and I'm still bedding them in, so I haven't gotten on it too much just yet. Initial impression though:

They are a good deal wider than the stock tires, I was pretty surprised by this. The stock tires were a bit thinner than the outer lip of the rim, theses stick out over the lip by maybe 1/8-1/4". Slight increas in road noise and ride harshness. Much better turn-in handeling...*much* <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

There's a pretty sharp corner right before I get to work, and 45 mph was where the stockers started to reach thier limit. The KD's have been to 48 MPH and don't seem to be at thier limit yet.

Once I've got another 50 miles or so on the rotors though, I'll be a lot more comfortable with seeing what these puppies are good for.

I'll let you know.
