Re: Rear brakes drag after 12 bolt install! Help!
Ok I finally figured it out!!! The caliper was actually rubbing against the rotor! For anyone installing a 12 bolt I highly recommend check clearance between the caliper and rotor. Im getting a grinder and grinding it off later today. Also, someone told me a Hypertech will rid the ABS light. Cool!!!!

Rear brakes drag after 12 bolt install! Help!
After I installed my Mosier 12 bolt, my rear brakes are constantly dragging the rotors or something. Ive changed pads before so Im pretty sure I did everything right, I even re-installed them twice and my rotors got eaten up where the pad touches.
Also, my e-brake doesn't work.
And to top it off, my ABS INOP light stays on.
I really need to fix this so I can drive my car. Thanks for any info...

Be careful on this fix as I can't imagine how the caliper causes a clearance problem. The abs works on my Moser. Do you have 3 channel (connection on the diff) or 4 channel (reluctor connections on each wheel)....sounds like the spacing if off somewhere....who installed the Moser?

I have the same problem, and would like to know the sollution. How do you check the clearance between the callipers and rotor? Did you get rid of the ABS INOP light? This is one of those things that is driving me nuts. I thought it might be the sensors in the rotors, and after $80 apiece on those, it did not change anything. I would like a sollution. Thanks.

If you take the caliper off, and leave the cage on, You will see where it rubs, plus, the scoring that it leaves from being metal-metal.
The axle/ Caliper mount is a about a 1/16 of an inch off. I had this same problem before, and I removed the caliper, then saw where it was rubbing the cage, and then proceeded to grind away. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
