Double spherical LCA's

Double spherical LCA's I have had poly/Heim LCA's on my car since it had about 35 or 40 miles on it. I figured that since I had a spherical bearing on one end of the LCA's, that binding was virtually non-existent.
I recently picked up a set of LCA's with spherical bearings at both ends, and installed them last night. WOW. BIG difference in the way the car drives. In a straight line the car hooks SO much harder, and in the turns traction is absolutely unreal. When making a 90* right, I got the car rolling in first, entered the turn, and nailed the gas. While the tires spun, the *** end never stepped out more than a couple of degrees.
From now on, when someone asks me for LCA recommendations, my only suggestion is going to be double spherical units... there is deffinitely more road noise, but it's nothing that the volume **** on the stereo can't take care of... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Double spherical LCA's There is something wrong with this. In straight line it shouldn't matter what ends you have. Poly/poly, rod/poly or rod/rod will all give the same results in straight line if they are all similar in the middle. When I twised the rod end on my LCAs, it moved a great deal. I highly doubt my axle will be moving that much.

Re: Double spherical LCA's Drew- the noise I am talking about is road noise... think about how the inside of your car sounds different when you're on rough asphalt vs. smooth asphalt vs. concrete. Simply put, the tires make noise when rolling down the road and the factory (as well as many aftermarket) suspension bushings are soft enough to absorb a lot of this noise. When you replace the bushings with spherical bearings, you have taken a lot of "slop" (read: vibration/noise isolation) out of the suspension.
WOOS1- mine are Global West units, but several other vendors (LG, etc...) sell pieces that will perform similarly.
