For less weight and increased traction I would definately switch back. I have the stock WS6 wheels with nittos on them and I usually hook pretty well. My roommate has 17x11's out back with dunlops and traction is hopeless. The only problem from "downsizing" would be losing the awesome look of 17x11's from the back <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

In an effort to:
#1 reduce rotational mass
#2 gain traction
#3 free up horsepower from heavy tires
I'm thinking of removing my 17x11 GS rims with 315/35/17 Dunlop SP8000s, and putting back my 17x9.5 GS rims, and 295/40/17 Drag radials (or something of similar size).
Anyone have this? Recommended?
