Default New X-Drills and pads..

I just put the cross-drilled/slotted rotors on with some Carbotech pads. Good for me, except on the first run they sound like they're on a lathe. They sound like they're being machined.

What's the experience with slotted/cross-drilled rotors in the first few miles??????? Does this sound go away as I drive, or am I a victim of my own stupid installation woes?

Here's the directions I'll be using once I'm back up and running- http://www.baer.com/Showcase/TechTips.aspx

Just pick which application applies and go from there

Yeah, you will get some sound from drilled/slotted
rotors. Some of it goes away, some apparently
doesn't. I still have some noise in the 40-30mph
range, but I've gotten used to it.
