I had a back bracked completed, but I guess when it was welded it warped inward. I tried to unwarp it with a jack but had no such luck.....so I just have to weld up this new one (I now have a jig so it wont move), measure how long the tubes need to be, bend the bottom piece, and weld the bushings in place and I will be done. I used 1.25"x .120chrome moly tubing and 1/4" cold rolled steel. It should be done in about 2 weeks. (about 3 hours of work time) It's just hard to fit in time to work on it.

It's a lot cheaper, but is it going to be as strong? I've seen people make their own subframe connectors and strut tower braces. This is the first time I've seen someone make their own torque arm. Looks good so far.

looks pretty good. I've been considering building my own torque arm also...post up some pics when you get it finished. did you make the front mount also or did you buy that somewhere?
