Default wolferacecraft 6 point cage

I will be adding a Wolfe 6 point chromoly black powdercoated bolt-in cage with swingout door bars. I would also like to get the removeable cross brace because my fiance has a 8 year old son. We don't take the car out much but its nice to have the ability if need be. I according to their website, the removable bar isn't NHRA legal. Is it legal for IHRA? My local track isn't NHRA, its IHRA. In know this is only based on opinions but tell me what you think; would your local NHRA legal track boot you or not pass you for tech if you have a removeable crossbrace? The brace is installed just the fact that its a bolt in, not welded.

I no longer have my IHRA rule book but I think you need to be running faster then 13's to even need a roll bar?

check the sig on the 99 SS, those are just some of the mods. I only ran it three times this season due to my work schedule. First time was with chrome Zr1 AFS 17x9.5(full tread)275-40zr-17 BFG Comp Ta Zrs(discontiunued tires)front, rear AFS chrome Zr1 17x11 and (full tread)315-35zr-17 BFG Comp TA Zrs(discontinued tires). These tires are not drag radials and the 17x11 AFS chromes with the 315s weight a good 55lbs easy(each). This was a time trial. I launched at 2000rpm. Didn't spin much because I eased into the throttle to a 2.42 60ft(the stock Ford Probe next to me was still next to me). I hammered the throttle and broke the tires loose. I spun until I speed shifted to 2nd and spun 2/3 through 2nd. I got good traction in 3rd and I ened up running 12.6@114 with a 2.4 60ft. I used my slicks(26x10.5x16 ET STREETS) for the 2 and third pass. The second pass I hooked to a 1.7 and just after I got through the 60ft my slicks broke loose and I spun again until 3rd but ran 12.4@115mph. Third pass I got a 1.6 60ft and lis-shifted to 5th instaed or 3rd. After realixing I was in 5th I slammed backing to 3rd and got back into the throttle to a 12.0@108mph. My SS has 11s in it no problem. I dynoed 414 RWHP through a 12 bolt and 4.10s on a known conservative dyno and using my heavy *** chrome Zr1 315s.

To get an up to date ruling why not just call www.ihra.com and ask them, while you're are at it I'd order a 2003 rule book so if there's any other question you'll have the answers will be at your finger tips.

I would think that they would be nearly identical in their safety rules. The only way to know for sure is to compare the exact rules in both rule books.
