Yes all you have to do is modify that and your good to go <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> . I wish I still had the pic where it tells ya where to cut it off at <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> . I got stock springs up front yet.

Want to get Hal front shocks....and keep my stock springs
What all is involved with it? Like modifying the lower perch? Havent ever changed the fronts before so i was just wondering what i might be getting into or if i shold let a shop do it for me?

I would definately spend the $$ and buy the modified spring perches from Thunder Racing.. they were a bitch to do. I used a sawsall..

ok....i got the new hals on....(so far so good) but now i have to get the stock perches off the decarbons. the only way they can come off is at the top near the piston rod of course. but there is a gold cap ontop of the strut that wont let the perch slide off. Do i have to get that cap off somehow? i gotta send the perches back to Thunder....??? <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

The gold caps just tap off with a hammer.
