HELP, Please...... Front part????
HELP, Please...... Front part???? 
The part circled in red. What is the correct name or part number for this part? I call it a spring perch but the dumb as at the dealer shows only one listing and its $200.
On GM parts direct I found a SEAT Part # 22099275 price $22.00.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check out the pic I have attached, it looks like part 53, but I'm not sure. If it is, my little manual says that is "MOUNT, FRT S/ABS UPR", part mumbers: 22146933 (left) and 22146934 (right).
May want to wait for someone else to double check that though, I'm not sure how accurate my little parts manual thing is.

I've sold and installed a few of the Monroe mounts, and had no trouble at all. Worked great, and came with new nuts and bolts too. Those studs are pressed in and aren't supposed to be torqued to a huge degree. Could have just had a bad one you know.

We got an off brand from Advance for Pimpmaro's car and it had aluminum threaded inserts. They didn't line up with the holes, cross threaded and "spun". We then got one from NAPA, it was steel and looked identical to the original. I'm sure it came from the same assembly line, or is an exact copy (down to the welds) of the OEM version. The price was far more reasonable than GM's. Call your local store for pricing, it varies by area.
