Default Will a STB effect launching?

I'm thinking a 3 pt. STB will make the front end more rigid which is good for handling but what will this do for the drag if anything? I know many racer's loosen or disconnect their front sway bars for better take off, is this similar?

Default Re: Will a STB effect launching?

I'm not sure if there would be any gain in a STB for drag racing but it sure can't hurt to have one, diconnecting the front sway bar can give you a better weight transfer to the rear ( more traction ). I'd go for the STB but just get the two point one instead of the three point brace.
